Our Breakfast Meal
Currently (for the last two years), we eat the same thing for breakfast every morning: A Green Smoothie. We really enjoy it and it hasn't gotten old. The boys love it as well. Sometimes I vary it by using flax seed or other kinds of fruits. Here is the general recipe:
Farmer Green Smoothie Recipe:
Serves 2 adults and 2 children
4 bananas (not green but yellow or spotty brown)
4 or 5 stalks of organic kale (no stems but the leaves) or several handfuls of organic spinach.
1 cup or so of frozen mango or other fruit
1 avocado (or flax seed that has been ground up)
Dates or a couple drops of stevia (optional)
