Lunch
Lunchtime!
Lunchtime can vary from day to day. For several years we ate the same thing for lunch every day: Fruit Salad with nuts on top. (Pictured at the left) Since then we eat many different things. Usually something really simple, especially when it is just me and the boys. Some days we literally just get out a can of beans and eat carrots and cucumber with it. And they love it, surprisingly! Other days we make a big salad and put all kinds of things on it. We like to keep things simple though and I think it is really good for us (especially us Americans) to eat simply sometimes. With all of the excess we have in America I really want to teach my boys to be content with little or with much. If you prefer lots of variety though, there are tons of salad recipes out there that look really tasty. :)
Our Lunch Options
1. Fruit Salad
2. Veggie salad with avocado or beans on top.
3. Homemade Hummus to dip veggies in or put in a wrap.

5. Pasta Salad with Vegenaise​
6. Leftover Soup from the night before with salad or veggies. ​
6. Oats or Pancakes for Fun​
