A year or so after we moved in I was looking for a cheap idea of what to put on this gigantic wall that goes up the stairs. Shortly after that I went to a parenting seminar with Kendra Smalley and she mentioned how she had a hallway with a picture for every year. In each picture was a collage of all the highlights of that year. I thought that was a great idea! And since you only have to buy one every year it works out really well. I just use Snapfish, pick out my favorite photos at the end of the year, and wait for them to go on sale. It is one of our family Christmas gifts each year. And it is fun to stop every once in awhile and see all that has happened since Lucas was born!
